This is an amazing interesting and picturesque pub. At a lovely English village this Inn gives you the full pleasure of resting, have a surprising delicious meal, and enjoy a great rustic ambiance and decor with the locals. The staff are polite and funny. They have this antique window were you can buy rarities or cigars! The food makes you melt and the fireplaces are beautiful. We carried the wooden smoky scent with us and the next day we wanted to came back! There's vegetarian options in the menu as well. No excuses!

Nice county pub, didn't eat there but I had a chat with the young guy behind the bar and some locals. It's a nice place with a lot of history, there's the full story on their website. It's owned by a guy that does TV antique things. The beer was good and the food looked nice but wasn't the cheapest. I'd happy to again

Great menu the food was excellent and lovely staff, it does get busy so probably best to book.. we would definitely recommend and go back.

Fancy food at fancy prices. Good for ambience and presentation, nice staff, good wines & beers, but perhaps not for those with a South Downs-size appetite!

A quaint 13th century coaching inn next to St Mary's Church. Food is creative and excellent. An extremely popular venue so bookings for meals us highly recommended. Please do not confuse the Lamb with the Lamb Inn in nearby Hooe. No comparison.
