Found this little family pub down by Cambridge. Manager Neil welcomed us in with open arms Lovely cosy feel to the place with a warm log fire and cool beer. Great.
Used it as my local for many years had great times in there with my friends mostly all departed. Hope the new land lord has good times too.

Small but friendly and welcoming. Had a lovely evening.
Met a friend for a drink early Saturday evening. Ordered a drink at the bar and then went and sat outside. Locals all received table service outside however, being a non local we did not, and had to go inside and order. Points to note: locals receive preferential treatment, landlady offered no welcome look or smile or hello, pub decor run dow, toilets match that of public toilets. Used to be a great pub years ago but has since gone to the dogs - avoid!
Honest little pub. Not trying to be trendy. Dog friendly. Good ale. Hospitable local regulars. Beer garden Round the side. Small car park, but on street parking was easy and very close.

Nice traditional pub. Service a bit slow even though not busy. I think the bar staff would appreciate some form of dress code. A track suit isn’t really what I would expect
