I’m a regular at Giggling Squid, and the warm welcome I always receive was no different here in Warwick. From the outside, it might seem small, but once inside, the restaurant offers ample dining space, including a cozy downstairs area. The food arrived promptly, and Stephan provided excellent service throughout our meal. As always with this chain, the portions were generous, and the quality didn’t disappoint. A lovely experience overall – Giggling Squid in Warwick lives up to the standard I've come to expect!
Great place to visit. Just on a walk in. And welcomed us right away.nGreat service very attentive by all the staff.nFood was quick and looked amazing and tasted the same amazing. All round fantastic experience may even return tomorrow. Many thanks for looking after us.
The starters we ordered was the crispy squid bits and North eastern papaya salad and they were very good, we did request for the papaya salad to be less spicy but it was still a bit to spicy for my friend so I had to eat it all.nFor our mains we had a Pad Kee Mao, Drunken Ribs and Tom Yum Fried Rice. The Drunken Ribs was very nice with a lot of flavours but the vegetable paired with it wasn't morning glory and was replaced with Pak Choi and Broccoli stem, the Pad Kee Mao and Tom Yum Fried Rice was decent.nAs for dessert I just ordered a double espresso while she chose an americano.nAnd because we couldn't finished our food we was given these take away boxes and these take away boxes looks very nice, I love it.nThe restaurant staff is friendly and had regularly checked up on us, the atmosphere was bright and was well lit with lots of flowers and if you're dinning here on a date or with your friends and family for a meal then I would suggest to go here in Warwick.
If you're looking for a memorable dining experience that blends the vibrant flavours of Thai street food with a delightful ambience, Giggling Squid should be at the top of your list!nnFrom the moment I stepped inside, I was swooned by the cute settings, adorned with colourful flowers that sensibly complement each dish's artistic presentation. The charming decor has an air of warmth, making it the perfect dining experience.nnFirst up were the Pork Dumplings. These steamed beauties blew me away. Each dumpling was filled with tender, succulent pork, perfectly paired with a zesty, gingery soy and rice vinegar dip. They’re a fantastic introduction, setting a high standard for the dishes that followed.nnNext up, I tried the Salt & Pepper Squid, Each bite of crunchy squid was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of spice & batter. This is undoubtedly a must-try for any seafood lover.nnMy partner ordered the Massaman Curry. With its mythical origins and legendary flavours, it lived up to the hype and then some! Simmered to perfection in rich coconut milk and beautifully perfumed with cardamom, every spoonful felt like a warm hug.nnLastly, I ordered the Spicy Double Curry Seabass. This dish was a festival of flavours with its succulent seabass fillets complemented by a colourful medley of aubergine, pea aubergines, fine beans, and sweet-hearted cabbage. The sauce had a slight kick but I was expecting more when it came to the spice level although still very tasty.nnThe waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu, thank-you I would definitely return.
Surprisingly there don't appear to be too many restaurants offering al fresco dining in Warwick. We were therefore glad to get a walk in at the Giggling Squid. We had the mixed starter platter, sticky chicken, pad thai and red curry. All of the dishes were delicious and the mocktails were all lovely too. The staff were very friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome too.
