I have no idea how someone could give the Bakehouse just a one star rating - it is an excellent restaurant. I have had five meals there one was good and four were absolutely fantastic. The service has been really excellent on every occasion and the atmosphere is just right, with the great character old building having a tasteful interior decor. I like the relaxed waiting area next to the snug bar where you are usually greeted with a really warm welcome by the barman from the moment you enter The Bakehouse. The service speed is fast, especially considering the quality of food and the price is really excellent value for money (especially if you opt for a set menu).
