Popped in for two take out hot drinks yesterday. Service is a bit slow in here. Seems to be a case of That's your job not my job! The Ferry season has now started with visitors going from Rowhedge to Wivenhoe and Fingeringhoe and visa versa. Its a golden opportunity to make more money and service is of paramount importance! There's some very nice pastries and pies here to take out and eating in the Tea Room is a good option!

If you are a cyclists, it appears you are not welcome. Staff could do with some customer care training.

Brilliant deli (with very reasonable prices), wonderful cafe! Have been to both many times.

Without a doubt my favourite shop in Wivenhoe, even though the coffee shop opposite it is excellent too. The deli is always my first stop for bread, cheese and cold meat; it also has a fantastic selection of drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), condiments and biscuits. Also, much of its goods are locally made, so you don't have to feel too guilty about air miles and carbon footprint. Anyone visiting the town - or any locals who somehow haven't heard of it already - are recommended to pay a visit.
