Amazing service, and very homely warm feel within a converted warm cottage. Everything is well presented, from the staff and interior to the most important of all, the food. They do a £30 for 3 course meal on Saturdays which has a great selection to choose from. Not too much not too little, perfect for me! Would highly recommend the Wood pigeon starter! It's locally sourced from just down the road, very fresh. Oh and a great south Australian melot ;)

I went for a family celebration in February. Pre-meal drinks were pricey but large. Wide choice on the menu and one special in the board. Vegan options are available separately if you let them know in advance. Food when it came was very good with a generous portion size for both starters and main courses. There is a large selection of wines to choose from but the house red was very well received on our table. Staff were generally attentive but the restaurant is always really busy so sometimes you can feel overlooked. Overall though definitely recommended.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The Grey Goose seems to strike the right balance between upmarket and unfussy. The batter on the whitebait started was spot on and the surf and turf was brilliant. Recommended.

Beautiful decor and friendly atmosphere. Just celebrated my daughter's birthday there. Staff are really friendly and tentative. Food was 1st class with delightful flavours.
