First time here, lovely little place but would be better through if it didn't look so modern but that's just my opinion. Staff were nice and friendly and food wasn't expensive and came out nice and quick. Had fajitas which was lovely with plenty of it. The only slight hic cup was that the wraps were slightly too dry but I would defo have again regardless.
Excellent food, burger I had was nice, only thing is the oil used to fry the fries need replacing more often. Burnt bits stuck to the fries isn't appealing at all
Excellent value meals for lunchtime. Food of high standard and plenty of choice. Staff were superb and catered for all needs. Highly recommend a visit as you wouldn't be disappointed
Very busy for Mother's Day. Friendly staff. Quick service. My steak was excellent. They ran out of some desserts but otherwise no problem. Good parking.
Ordered Two meals both with chips one came with freshly cooked and one with ones that looked that they had been cooked a month ago for the price of a potato or from a bag of frozen why do you do this. Absolutely disgusting . Would not ever recommend this place. No wonder it’s gone down over the years. You should respect your customers or they won’t come back and will publish reviews like this.
Really poor on a recent visit. Fajitas were previously good but the food and the presentation was well below standard, embarrassing to actually deliver that to someone's table. Absolutely zero care taken from the kitchen. Tapas dishes were Iceland specials and the children's meal was poor on all fronts. Disappointed with what had historically been a good value pub.
Went on tue 24 Jan been many times this time pub really cold, and the girl behind the bar seemed as though she didn't want to be there, miserable. Manager was not there as we asked. Food average, meal off main menu no bigger than 5.99 menu. Presentation poor grilled tomato raw. We won't be back for a long time!
Haven't been here in a while but took the family for a last minute Sunday meal! Just as I remembered. The service was excellent and the food was tremendous value for money for both quality and quantity.
Been coming here on & off for years But myself and my wife will not be rushing back, most meals we have had there have been fine. But we visited today 24/03/2023 for lunch with friends we both had steak Which to fair was not good very fatty had a what should have been a fried egg with it which looked as if was cooked in boiling water not in frying pan not happy, Mentioned it at the bar they said I will let them know in the kitchen. so a bad day For lunch today so will be eating some where else in the future. P.s It does say fried egg on the menu to me that was not a fried egg what I had today It Was horrible , coleslaw was like a cheap supermarket one not taste to it not good around really
“The best food in Leicestershire” it’s says on a sign as you walk through the door, I don’t know when that sign was made but it’s very outdated, maybe I misread it, it could of said best dog food in Leicestershire. Eating here made me sad.
