This is a great pub. I own and operate a B&B in the same village and have no qualms in recommending this pub to guests staying with us. I recieve very positive feedback regarding the food, the beer and the service. I love the pub too, shame it doesn't open Monday.

Called in for a meal as we were had been travelling all day and still had over 2-hours driving. Amazing food. Great service. Beautiful pub. Allowed our little dog in. Roaring fire. Friendly people. Shame we couldn't have stayed longer.

Was looking for a pub lunch on our long drive home - came across this one and man was it worth it. Had the nicest lasagne and scampi and chips with homemade chips ! Would definitely visit again if ever that way!
