We went on New Year's Eve and it was very quiet in there. We met a couple of friends there to have a drink . Prices are reasonable. It depends what you are drinking. The restaurant is a bit expensive the bar food not so bad. It would have been nice if they still served late eve.snacks apart from crisps tho.

Pleasant enough stay, rooms are tidy but closely packed. The room I stayed in located in the courtyard was very noisy from around 5:30am due to some machinery (heating or ventilation) outside of room. There was also a lot of noise from people walking around the room above at strange hours. Parking is a problem with overnight guests needing to recharge public council owned car parks from 7am which do not offer card or pay by phone options.

Quaint and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The staff seemed slightly overworked with a large party of demanding customers (not us) which meant we were given the briefest of welcomes. Ok for one night. Room was up three flights 9f stairs, no offer if assistance with bags. Possibly not quite worth the £120 per night price tag.
