We needed a last minute venue for my grandmother's wake, unfortunately the golden ball Inn was unavailable so close to Christmas however Miranda and her husband went out of their way to help us out with a buffet and even delivered it to a nearby hall for us too at a very reasonable rate. The pub itself is beautiful inside, it has an old time feel while also feeling homely at the same time, the top end of the pub was like a cove ceiling which is a beautiful feature. I visited prior to the wake which was today 23rd Dec 22 to enquire about booking. There is plenty of parking out the back and a nice little garden path walk way to the entrance, inside the staff Scarlett in particular are very friendly and helpful. I Highly recommend the Golden Ball for anybody visiting Ironbridge, a real hidden gem
The recent new owners December 2022 have made this pub even better than it was before! Lovely menu, excellent food and very reasonable prices. Great service, very friendly staff.Service: 5/5
Proper old pub. lovely food, good beer and really friendly staff. Price of food really reasonable as well. We went for Saturday night meal and ended up booking Sunday lunch as well
Recently reopened, staff a bit vague, food ok but they only do Sunday lunch on a Sunday, no lighter meals. The pub looks nice inside but it's lost much of the character it once hadRooms: 3/5
Great pub off the beaten track. Bit of a trek up hill from Ironbridge, but we'll worth it. Good selection of ales and prosecco for the ladies. Nice seating outside front and back. Good menu choice available. Now under new ownership, much better, warm and friendly. Great selection of beers and food.
Absolutely amazing stay, room was redecorated with a lot of thought and had everything we needed - food in the pub was excellent value for money and tasted amazing - staff were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble - can’t wait to go back Food & drinks: Excellent menu and prices

Fantastic pub! Atmosphere and Food excellent and super cosy. Dogs welcome and you are made to feel very welcome. Will defo be back!
