Stayed two nights with bed and breakfast and had an excellent time. Room was awesome with glass floor and view of old malthouse remains. Breakfasts were lovely, rooms clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Really good price paid too. Definitely going back as such lovely walks in the area. Pub evening meals good as well.
Been to The Swan a few times, and each time we leave happy. The staff are lovely, welcoming, and attentive. The food is divine I highly recommend the rib eye if you like steak. All in all, a welcoming pub, with great staff and great food. What more could you ask for?
Friendly staff. Customer service was great, they managed to provide a gluten free meal for my husband which is usually harder than you would imagine. Fast service, would definitely use them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.
Cutlery was dirty, some old cutlery still left on the floor, it's a Saturday night and the signature BBQ tray options for sharing were not available neither was the beef rib, that's the whole point about going there! Order for 7 wasn't difficult and we were the 1st seated and served, 2 steaks, 2 Mac & Cheese, 2 burgers and chips made up to be dirty, I had the brisket with gravy and bloomer bread, brisket came out cold, gravy tepid bloomer bread was a crust end, brisket tasted greasy due to being cold with no real flavour, warmest thing was the dirty fries which were missing a couple of ingredients, spring onions etc, service was good by the lad that looked after us and he did offer to warm up my food but it shouldn't be coming out cold in the 1st place, all in all poor on my experience alone and I won't be going back, a totally different experience to when we last went, even the menus were photo copies of the originals, needs a kick up the arse
I really like this pub even though it's more of a foodie place these days. It has a nice friendly atmosphere inside and a reasonable beer garden out front. The only down side for me is the choice of beers which are either limited or not available. The pub does offer some tap IPAs as an alternative.
Stayed here for 1 night, the room was lovely and a nice view of the river.we also ate here and the food was excellent. We both had a starter and main they were both lovely. we both had the dirty dogs which was great and huge.we recommend a stay here if in the Ironbridge area.
Fabulous food, staff and setting. Generous portions of quality food, delivered timely. Engaging staff and a lovely table and cutlery. Good drinks range and reasonably priced.
This place was so good we ate here twice on our visit. The food was fantastic and the nights we went they had a live band and a vocalist. Would recommend!
I would not recommend this place at all. Food was Ok staff are like headless chickens. Was asked if we wanted anything to go with our burgers and chips to which we replied ketchup please. The waitress came back dumped a ketchup bottle on the table and dissapeared. My partner had to go and find her to get a ketchup bottle that wasnt empty. No apology just "Oh" After the meal we popped out for a quick vape first some bloke who was with the musical act went to clear our part filled wine glasses and bottle from the table, i saw him through the window, banged on the window and gestured him to stop. Then just as we were walking back in the empty ketchup bottle waitress was walking off with our glasses and bottle. We stopped her in time and sat back down to finish our drinks. Maybe the owners/management should try to train the staff in good customer service
The pub looked loveley. Took family and children. The ales were off and had to be replaced with alternative drinks. The wait was around 40 minutes. With very few people in at time of visit. Asked for a kids menu and was told they don't have any to look on our phones at the online menu. This was after initially being told some were being printed off. The meals came out and looked great. Then we realised that the menu did not reflect what was served. Missing items with the excuse of its a new menu and the chef didn't know. Followed by another query on the meal. Which was met with the new menu is out of date as they no longer provide that item. The food tasted ok, if it had been good I would have eaten here again but being OK for the service recieved I will pass next time.
