Good pub, usually has entertainment on a Friday evening, and a good atmosphere. Can't comment as far as the food is concerned as yet to have food here.
Had a buffet more than enough food and well worth the money food was excellent
Lovely local with friendly staff. I belive they serve Indian food served Thurs-Sat and traditional Sunday lunch on, well u guessed it, Sunday.
Went for curry night Ordered starter and mains Both came out together, when spoke to them they offered to take mains back in kitchen and reheat them when we were ready, A BIG NO NO Then they forgot the rice which finally came out piping hot but mains was warm When asked if everything ok ,we were polite and said no they tried blaming me saying thats how I asked for it Why would anyone want that she then tried blaming they chef Chicken had a very funny texture quite rubbery
Excellent service, a good Family run pub..Really looked after my family at my Fathers celebration of life, Buffet food was Delicious.. Thank you all at The Wickets
My 1st visit... obviously recently refurbished. Well presented .. pleasant ,helpful barmaid. initial impression...I like this place , but after checking out choice of drinks on offer ,changed my mind ..plenty of choice if you like keg beers ..cider or lager but ,alas very limited if like me you like real ale. Didn't initially intend to have lunch ,but the menu looked inviting. Sunday lunch ...three meats on offer ..price rediculously low £5.00 .. couldn't resist it. Service good ..meal , unfortunately average . Although you get a Full plate , presentation and flavour a little lacking. Marks out of ten ...6 . But will give it another go .
Lovely place esp the Sunday Dinner. Welcoming staff, great food, great portions and amazing value for money - highly recommend for any family
The staff are friendly and attentive. The Indian food is lovely and well priced and available Monday to Saturday fro m 5pm till 9pm. A traditional Sunday lunch is served on Sundays with a choice of meats, plenty of vegetables and mashed & roasted potatoes and is very nice. A nice place to go and have some good food and a beverage or two.

Had a wonderful breakfast this morning at Telford Armed Forces Breakfast club like the new self service
