Just back from my first visit to The Glasses Factory in Blaydon and have to say I'm very impressed! I've worn glasses most of my life and have never felt so well looked after. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everything is explained fully, no pressure selling,nothing is rushed. Would definitely recommend.

Incredibly patient and helpful staff. I have 3 lively kids who basically took over the shop for 2 hours and they couldn't have been better with them. All results were explained to me in detail and the kids glasses took less that 24hrs to be ready. Very affordable as well. Highly recommended for families with kids.

I had eye laser surgery 8 years ago went to this company in the metro centre they said I needed glasses cose my eyes were shaking. The glasses have never helped I took them to vision express and they just laughed and said they is little priscrition on them they would nt help at all. And I do not need glasses. So this cost me £75 I didn't need to spend and I was getting migraine not my sight

Thank you so much !!!!!
I was desperate for pair of driving glasses,I lost my old pair when I was in blaydon car park,my old pair some how got lost in my car..
Went to glasses factory told them I couldn't drive home.
They were very professional and helpful and made me pair in a hour and I could drive home..
What a great service and the glasses were at very good price cheaper Then other high st shops

By far the worst experience ever bought frame's from these guys which weren't fitted before hand I paid for veri focals with a transition lens I already wear veri focals instead of marking my new glasses to my eyes just took markings from my old glasses which I might add are much smaller than the new ones and ended up marking them to low never  again no apology  poor service
