Absolutely amazing experience at Specsavers today, especially as it was a Saturday and I didn't have an appointment I just called in on the off chance as I needed a new pair of glasses. I would highly recommend popping in and asking for Cathy she is amazing, she let me try on countless pairs of glasses, everything I chose I didn't like on but she found pairs that really complimented my face and I loved on. Thank you so much for all your help and patience when I couldn't decide. I am so happy with what I chose and I can't wait to collect my new glasses.
Not best customer service, even with an appointmemt to pick up my glasses, put me on a queue made me sit and then gave prioity to people coming afterme without an appointment
Bought glasses they were wrong when I picked them up. They asked me to come in the following afternoon. Then told me I didn't have an appointment. I showed them the appointment card which they then said oh yes we should have cancelled it. After a hoo hah I got to see the optician who informed me I should have been told the glasses shouldn't have been prescribed since I have cataracts. I have then had to make another journey to hand glasses back.Asked if they have referred me oh yes been to Dr's and no they haven't. Won't be back. Why are you asking me to send to the shop you send it another part of your poor service.

Awful customer service. Having been in to the Blaydon Store a couple of weeks ago to make an appointment for my 95 year old mother, the service from the call centres ha been appauling. The manager of the store was going to contact me ....twice.....it didn't happen. When this was raised, no apology was given just 'we will message her again'. I no longer have the patience to try and sort my mother's appointment out, and we're now looking for a more client focussed service.
Optician was great but when coming out of store with an elderly person that struggles to walk and having to fight with a heavy door while floor staff just stand around talking or watching isn't good customer service.
If you want quick and friendly service, DON'T GO HERE ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY! Staff were very pushy, impatient and sarcastic. Clearly some staff here need to stock up on their happy pills because I didn't come here to be spoken to like a child who was being punished. Thank you but I'll be going to the Specsavers in the town from now on xx
Took my two children, which one has cerebral palsy and is quite impatient, to this opticians in Blaydon, as it had parking and had good reviews the reviews did not disappoint as the customer service and the staff were brilliant from the eye test to the collection everything went through pretty fast so my son was happy. One grateful mama. Thankyou...
Excellent friendly service from staff, everything exactly as you would want it to be.
Really hard to get through on the phone, but in store staff are very polite and helpful. In particular felt I had great assistance from Ropa and Ismail. Not reflecting so much on the store staff, but feel the organisation could do better in terms of being contactable as the staff expect you always to have an appointment, but it's very difficult to make one unless straight online, even then no clarity on costs.etc
