Fabulous meal with fantastic service from all staff, especially Geoff who is the best front of house. He welcomes everyone and really cares about them getting the best of service. Really accommodating when my guests were late at a busy time and with finding us another table to help with my guest's hearing issues.nAll staff were friendly, smiling and helpful and the food was excellent.
We stayed at this pub for the night and had a couple of meals here too! It was excellent - amazing service, incredible food and lovely staff. The rooms were lovely too! Thank you would highly recommend.
We stayed here to meet up with friends locally. Fabulous room -Thyme - having the split level room was superb. Staff very helpful and friendly. Always willing to go extra step. Breakfast excellent, we did not dine there but that is for another time. Thanks to The George Team, superb stay.
Had a lovely Sunday roast here with family! I’m gluten free and they were fully accommodating and I even got a gluten free Yorkshire pudding! Fantastic service and would definitely go again xx
Top quality choice in the area, great value for money. The menu is quite interesting while not intimidating, and everything I ordered was delicious. Came back again just to try more of the food. Wine selection is also great for all tastes. Simply a must.
