Booked a bit last minute as we were having treatments in a local spa and could not have stumbled on a nicer eatery. Looks very small from the front but a multi storey rabbit Warren once inside. The Sunday dinner cooked over wood was one of the best I've ever eaten with my wife's lamb being a definite high point. The staff were all quick to provide drinks/take orders and serve food. Well definitely revisit if back in the area

Had a lovely romantic dinner with my wife in this cosy little pub. Nice cocktails and really excellent food. Good steaks and the sharing platter was a real treat. Staff were really friendly and atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Just what we needed!

Having read all of the good reviews we booked a large family lunch for 16 people, Sadly really disappointed,several of the men ordered the beef at an extra £4.00 per head (£23.00 per meal) it was so tough it was inedible and taken home for the dog. Quietly mentioned to the staff who kindly wrapped it and discounted the meal by half but leaving people with a lunch of just vegetables. Four of us ordered lamb and asked for mint sauce to accompany it, there was none, and a member of staff went to the local shop to source some by which time we had finished the meal. Sharing platter was great and friendly staff but sadly a very disappointing and not inexpensive lunch.

Great evening, great food, attentive staff, a bit expensive but as the food and drinks are good, all reasonable value.

Had a Christmas lunch here and it was excellent, it was fine dining with a good service. Refreshing also to see some skill at the bar, had a superb Hendricks with cucumber. I wish them every success.
