Nicola and mark have recently taken over the running of The Dog. The pub is warm and welcoming to locals and visitors. With a relaxed atmosphere. We are not current serving any food however if you would like to buy fish and chips from the old stable chip shop located across the road you are more than welcome to eat in the pub as long as you buy a drink.
Very nice little rural pub, basic but unspoilt. Hops hanging from the beams, whitewashed exposed stone hearth with log burner and horse brasses. Regular feature in CAMRA guides, several very well kept local ales on tap and some local bottled ciders.

A great pub with a warm welcome, superb real ales, friendly atmosphere, darts and pool. What's not to like?
Just what you want in a village/ community pub really! Hereford Gold, Doombar and Wye ales on tap! Helpful staff - chippy just over the road!
