Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a fantastic place to visit, whether you’re looking for a peaceful walk, a fun day out, or some outdoor activities. The park is beautifully maintained, with plenty of green spaces, scenic walking and cycling trails, and lovely waterways. It’s a great spot for families, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to escape the hustle of the city.nnThe ArcelorMittal Orbit is a must-visit, offering stunning views of London, and the slide down is an unforgettable experience! The London Stadium and the Aquatics Centre are also impressive, hosting various sporting events and activities. There’s always something happening in the park, from concerts and cultural events to fitness sessions.nnHowever, one downside is the lack of public toilets throughout the park. Given the park’s size and the number of visitors, more facilities would be helpful, especially for families and those spending several hours exploring. Hopefully, this is something that can be improved in the future.nnThat said, the park is still a wonderful place to visit. It’s easily accessible by public transport, has great cycling paths, and offers a mix of relaxation and adventure. If you’re in East London, it’s definitely worth a visit!
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a fantastic spot to visit, offering a great mix of history, nature, and modern design. The park is beautifully landscaped, with plenty of green spaces, waterways, and walking trails. It's the perfect place for a leisurely stroll or a bike ride, with lots of areas to explore. The Olympic legacy is still alive here, with iconic venues like the London Stadium and the Aquatics Centre open for visitors. Whether you're looking to relax, enjoy outdoor activities, or soak in some Olympic history, it's a great spot for all ages.
Great park and a great legacy of the Olympic Games held in 2012.nnDespite being a while ago now the Olympic feel is still there and the park is well maintained. Lots of green and open space for everyone to walk around. I would recommend seeing the Olympic & Paralympic rings and the surrounding canals.nnWorth visiting as a nice space near to the Olympic London Stadium - lots of facilities in this area are still used and present an option near the Westfield centre as somewhere to go!
Brilliant public place for a day visit. Signage could be slightly better.nThe Aquatics Centre was absolutely fabulous. Very envious of the residents of Stratford having such a fantastic facility, especially in these days of council enforced closure of swimming pools.
Breathtaking a bit confusing at times but well worth a visit wheelchair friendly and children won't be bored for long.
