What a gem of a find this place is...After travelling 4hrs from Suffolk based on what I had heard about The Fox, it certainly didn’t disappoint! For me, the homemade burger is alawys great test to see what the food is going to be like and it was amazing, cooked to perfection as was the mixed grill I had the next night . The Sunday carvery was that good I had to have double helpings. The owners, staff and service were amazing to, so friendly and welcoming, you really feel well looked after. If your looking for somewhere to stay ( check website for accommodation details ) or just want a great meal then The Fox is a must, family and dog friendly to just makes it an all round great place to visit

Went for a Sunday carvery and was not disappointed. A huge plate of food with a generous portion of perfectly cooked beef (other meats were available) followed by a very nice cheesecake. Very quick, polite table service too.

Always great food at a reasonable price, friendly staff, and Adam & Michelle equally so. Definitely recommended

Lovely staff, gorgeous carvery, homemade icecream, nice quiet garden - and 1 min walk from their campsite - Very handy for when you're camping! Check opening hours as it's a lunch restaurant rather than a pub.

We had been to the Festival of light at longleat so took a gamble & after fitting us in at the last minute, we enjoyed a pleasant main course. We just did not have enough room for desert. I had the burger and mrs baileys dad had a steak. The burger was well cooked & there were plenty of chips served in a mini basket. All the food was well presented, hot and tasty. The staff are friendly & the prices are reasonable. The presentation was excellent & we did not have to wait too long. We will return for another lovely meal at the Fox.
