Anna was polite and the pub is clean polite staff gorgeous food very worth it for the money. I would recommend the carvary and the rocky road sundae. I am back at the fox today and enjoying another fabulous night of lovely food polite staff. I would highly recommend here the food as usual would amazing the chef was polite and the waitresses was polite and helpful if you play darts they have a dart board have to take your own they also have a pool table as well
The meals are brilliant and lovely off the menu, the new ones and I would recommend the fox to any one, the staff and the service is brilliant, and Amy & David was brilliant when we were there, service with a smile and got the food on time didn't have to wait too long considering it was a busy night
This pub has been recently renovated. The place looks good and the food is brilliant. Went to a Drag Bingo evening which was amazing fun.

Nice inside and wasn't too busy with service and wait times for food both ordered and carvery very very good. The carvery meat was good quality with decent portions but the yorkies were overcooked, the peas dry and hard and the roast potatoes were not good at all. A lot of it seemed to have been soaked in butter or cream including the carrots and mash which does give a lot of flavour but can be sickly. Since one of our party has a low tolerance to dairy it really affected what they could eat and they suffered the next day. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. Would visit again.
Carvery was amazing and best I've had in ages. Serving staff and chef were polite and very friendly except the guy with tattoos behind bar. Needs to polish up on his manners as quite rude and impatient. All other aspects were top notch. Jorja was lovely
Popped in with a friend to have a catch-up and something to eat. The food was absolutely amazing and all the staff are really friendly. It's a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back.
Went for Sunday lunch as we was in the area and it looked like a nice pub. The staff were friendly but the food really let it down. We had a carvery the veg was pretty tasteless and cold the roast potatoes were like bullets the mash was dry and the meat was In very short supply wafer thin and not much of it.
Really disappointing visit this evening. Arrived around 6.30 waited to be seated as sign states, I asked at the bar what we were supposed to do after waiting at the door for 10 minutes to be told to continue waiting and someone will seat us.. a girl then says find yourself a table. So we did, then ordered at the bar. Jack was lovely but that’s the only positive I can give. We waited 45 minutes for a burger and a pizza and the quality wasn’t great to be honest. Considering every other table had a carvery the wait time was very odd to say the least. Won’t be rushing back
Breakfast was quite nice. Disappointing experience as after the sauce products, beans, toms etc, my partner wanted a new plate as the plate was covered. Staff said its against policy to switch plates... fair enough. What they don't do is then provide any level cleaning facility for guests to clean their own plates, so my partner took her plate into the toilet and rinsed it there, whilst the staff watched her walk in and still didn't react at all. They would much rather guests clean plates in an unsanitary environment, than to properly resolve the issue. Oh, and there was a stack of clean plates behind the staff the entire time probably 100+.
