It was a bit confusing at first but then we were tired and wet from 7 hours of cruising and locks. One bar to place drinks orders, the other to place food orders. They have a very limited selection of non alcoholic or alcohol free beers. We ordered biryani’s which came in a bowl with a lid on that looked like a pie? Never seen it served like this before and it may not have been a problem if my “lid” hadn’t been burned. The curry itself was flavourful and spicy which was exactly what I needed. Not the flavour I associate with biryani but delicious all the same. The chunks of meat were large and there was enough.
My first curry here at the Boat was superb. We had the mix grill and desi lamb curry and we were very impressed. We now know what real home cooked food tastes like. We will be back thank you for the warm welcome highly recommended.

It was the first time I went. i will be going back to the guy behind the bar saw I was watching cricket on my phone, and he put it on the tv for me. Good place to go and watch sports the food the food was good too. A+ service Food: 5/5
The food was delicious and the service was excellent as always. We had butter chicken and Desi Lamb both were extremely tasty. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5

We have been visiting different parts of the west midlands with my grandsons, we googled this pub to stop for food, The place is spotlessly clean, friendly service on the bar and the food was really lovely!!!Food: 5/5
A rustic charming pub by the riverside, unfortunately only serving food from a Thursday onwards. Good beer and nice people can't be too wrong though Food: 2/5
