Visited with friends and received a very warm welcome, excellent service from friendly staff, and enjoyed a delicious meal with a wide selection of ales. Would thoroughly recommend.
EXCELLENT, I got here at about 2pm , the two ladies working were extremely helpful. Really made us feel welcome, thank you so much I would highly recommend and ill be back in a couple of days
If you want a traditional pub experience this is the place,great ales and lagers absolutely fantastic staff and food, try the home cooked Sunday roast, but l advise you to book thats how popular it is.

My partner and i visited this lovely little pub this past Thursday 3rd October and we thoroughly enjoyed our time their. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the food was fantastic and generous portions. We Deffinately recommend taking time to visit if and when you are in the area.
Normally 5/5 for covid-19 safe but Saturday lax.
A friendly place with tasty food and amazing staff, 100% will be going there again and recommending that family/friends try there too
Now a 'proper' pub again serving pub grub, well presented and remarkable value. Lovely staff.
Loved this place as The Cork and Bottle... but now it is a cracker of a place for a good few beers, with nice staff and a homely atmosphere
Excellent meal in a friendly environment. Really friendly staff.
