Used to frequent twenty years ago when I worked nearby. Was great place midweek beers.nnAnyway, went back for first time this summer and was charged £10 for a small bottle of rose-flavoured lemonade and a lime and soda... Asked barman and owner? if he thought that was fair for two soft drinks, one of which is often FREE in pubs, and he shrugged shoulders and walked off... more I sensed out of embarrassment than malice. If you are the manager reading this, I'd reconsider charging a greater mark-up on your soda water than your champagne.nnMenu looked great but we went off to the Magpie to eat after that.nnAnyway, more fool me for paying. Had to rate the 'rooms' to log this review, but I didn't stay so I can't comment on accomodation. What I would say is 1/5 for value, and 2/5 for service. Won't ever go back but in fairness to the place, sure it's food and drinks and staff are better than my experience.nnWish the Flower Pot well.
Service super good, really friendly but food needs to improve 110% the bun was burnt, the chicken burger felt like it was out a packet and not much flavour at all, same with the chips they were awful. Overall decent experience and i come here a lot so hope the food improves. Also not much choice on the menu
The staff were wonderful, if maybe a little unaware that we had sat down for dinner; the rooms amazing if maybe in need of more tea bag choice than PGTips, the bar staff and bar were excellent and friendly. Food was great and straight forward to order. Parking is a challenge but this is London and honestly why was I driving .. I hope to be back another time if only to enjoy the bath in the room ...
Popped here on the first night of a weekend away with my Girlfriend. Fell in love with the place immediately, we went repeatedly during the stay. The food is among the best we've had, the cocktails and drinks were spot on each time we had plenty to make sure the staff were friendly, chatty and just completely welcoming, particularly Sophie. Hopefully going to actually stay in one of the rooms soon too. Perfect location.
Didn’t stay but had dinner - lamb and mint pie was delicious, burger was cooked perfectly. Food hot and freshly cooked will definitely be back. Thank you.
