Booked a room after traveling for LASIK eye surgery. The lady at the bar was helpful and accommodating. The room was standard for the cheap price, but I found it very noisy the pub was playing music, it was close to the road, and there was a lot of door opening and closing. I can't comment on the food as I didn’t eat, but there's a Co-op nearby for supplies. Overall, not bad for a cheap night’s stay, but bring earplugs!
Sunday roast today, amazing ,great service nice and quick. The chef Mike is very friendly ,and great food. Definitely will come again.Service: 5/5
Booked a table a week in advance.. to be 30 mins in and about to start our meals to be told our table has been reserved an hour after we arrived!! And the manager knew I booked it to watch the whole football game.. and they could have reserved any other table in the pub but it had to be ours! Staff were lovely apart from a lady behind the bar who was just rude! Your lucky i paid for my tab because I was going to just walk out.. and I can tell you that was my first and last time in the farmers union
Staff are so friendly and very professional. Great swlection of drinks and cocktails. Then there's the food...Oh My God!!! Between the Jerk Chicken, the Curry Goat, the Pulled Pork, the Sunday Roast or Breakfast I could not say how wewll Cooked and delicious they all are. The Chef Mick/ Caribbean constructs many of the dishes in such an authentic way and cooks with passion. Have tried many of the dishes and all have been ecsquisit. Highly Recommend.
We had 2 large roasted dinner 4 types of meat and sides as much as you want and 2 small cokes for 29 pound! So cheap and nice. The Cook was super friendly. He brought us an extra can of gravey to the table. Totally recomend this sunday roast for 13 pound!Service: 5/5
It was perfectly adequate for a quick one night stop over at a cheap price. I only had a single room booked. It was small but suited my needs, could do with a revamp, but I suspect this would bring the rooms upto a higher price. I wouldn't recommend for a couple on a romantic evening or weekend away. Staff were perfect, I was shown to my room promptly on arrival. Rooms: The rooms are very basic Nearby activities: Lots to do as the location is very central to the town centre. Walkability: Very good
Really accommodating of our dietary issues. Couldn't ask for better service. All the staff were lovely and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us.Service: 5/5
Good pub. I have visited often when in Exeter. Good, well priced food. Pity there's no medium brown ale. Just IPA. I prefer London Pride, Doombar, that type of thing but it's not served here.Service: 4/5
Very good staff and very helpfully, would highly recommend, good food and great prices for family and taste brill, the lovely lady carried my zimmer frame and a very heavy bag up the stairs, nothing was to much trouble by every one keep up the good work. Simon
