Great place, especially if you're in a big group! The food is really reasonably priced and a great place to start your night. Mid week this can be a great place to eat for just two people. I would highly recommend the fajitas! The bar in the basement is a great place to go after dinner as it feels like you're in a different place. Delicious cocktails.
A very nice place for a get together with your friends. The food was great and big portions too. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. The staff were nice and helpful, especially with preparing a small "Happy Birthday" for our friend. A place to check out to unwind in the evening in Exeter.
Awesome food I very large portions. The menu covers a wide variety of American cuisine, with some Mexican favourites thrown in for food measure. I've just got to reiterate again that the main courses especially the platters and combos and seriously big. I was guilty of ignoring this warning myself! If it's your first visit definitely reconsider if you're thinking of having a starter! The atmosphere is lively with music playing at most times, it's a great place to go with friends or for work functions, but obviously wouldn't recommend for first dates!
My friend and I had a fantastic meal here! The atmosphere is great, was fully booked on the night we were there, and our starters and mains were excellent. The prices are really affordable and the staff were very attentive. I will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone. 5/5
Had my birthday party in the Cocktail Lounge on Saturday 21 August. We all had a fabulous time, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone said how delicious and plentiful the food was. Thank you all so much for making my birthday so special - you definitely are all Starz!
Good size portions and caters well for large groups. Had a work do which included a cocktail making. The staff running the cocktail class were friendly and good sports to a group of increasingly innebriated people. Not the most amazing food but still helped bring the party back to earth. Be aware that they don't allow large groups to split the bill on card.
OMG! Amazing food and service. Easy to find but it was dark and is down and under the bridge. We had a burger and the ribs sharer. The food was amazing and very good portions. We were very full. We noticed that they had fried Mac and cheese on the children’s menu which they were very kind to give us as a cheap side. Would go again when visiting Exeter.
Visited on a chilly March evening - restaurant was cold so we asked for the heating to be turned up. Waitress said she would put the heating on, if she could work out how to do it. We saw them fiddling with some controls near the bar - it didn't look like something they did too often. 5 minutes later, another staff member tells us that the heating is on, although it will take a while to warm the room up - we asked if we could move to the next table which was next to a radiator - he said that was no problem, so we moved table, keeping our coats on until the temperature was more comfortable. The food arrived - the pulled pork in our burgers was just warm, not hot, although it was tasty. By the time we left, about 45 minutes later, the radiator was still as cold. It was also very cold downstairs where the toilets are - there was no heating anywhere. We'll take our own halogen heaters next time... or just go somewhere where they understand that their customers might like to eat in a warm, welcoming place on a cold night.
My husband had a steak meal, which was extremely tough. He complained to the manager Kalie who had a .. 'don't care' attitude ... she offered another meal, but we were a party of about twenty. Everyone would have finished their food!! No one else had steak?? It wasn't so much the terrible steak, it was more to do with the rude ... take it or leave it type attitude from the manager, who didn't apologise once???The waiting staff were all very friendly and helpful... we will not be going back !!!!
