There was a somewhat short waiting line outside, needed to wait to be seated but wasn’t too long especially for a Saturday, the lady at the shop was kind and polite, totally worth the wait! The scones are to die for! Sooo good, proper clotted cream and jam. I had an oat milk Cappuccino with my scone then went for scrambled eggs on bread, all quite tasty, fueled up well for a long day ahead! Vegetarian options: Scones and some sandwiches and they have a vegetarian option for full English breakfast
Very little place. Too little. Went here as it came recommended by a friend. Didn't like it as much. Staff was friendly and welcoming. But as they got busier, checking out wasn't the same. Not rude but not polite either. More like "we are done, you can leave". Avocado brunch was the most bland I've ever had. The sausages in the full breakfast was more than charred in places. Had to leave it. Eggs, we asked scrambled. Tasted more like the mixed readymade scramble eggs at hotels like Holiday Inn. Not fresh. Apparently they could only make sunny side up or scrambled. Not regular omelette. Not sure if the sunny side up are also not fresh The Rose lemonade was just rose water with barely any fizz. Absolutely not worth getting. The chai latte without coffee was good. Again, tea pot wasn't. Don't need to pay so much for horribly tasting tea bags dunked in water.
It's a small, but quite pretty establishment with tasty breakfast options. Service was fine for the most part, except for the seating arrangements. They forced a couple of us to sit separate from our four friends, even though it would have been quick and easy to push the tables together - they were already close and it wouldn't have caused any issues for the servers going around. As somebody who works in a similar environment, I do not understand this unwillingness to accommodate our little group.
Lovely little cafe that offers afternoon tea at an economical price. You won't leave hungry. More than enough sandwiches and desserts offered per person. They don't have reservations so we arrived at 11:30 to make sure we got in at noon when they start offering tea. We got in at noon. Loved everything that was offered for tea. One of the highlights of our trip. One of the best scones I have eaten.
On my first visit to London, I discovered this place, which I highly recommend. The food is delicious, the theme of the place is lovely, it's clean, and the service is excellent. I particularly enjoyed their English breakfast, and the decor made the experience even more memorable. Don't miss it if you're in the area!Food: 5/5
I had the Avocado Brunch, Cream Scone, and a latte. I really recommend their scone! They warm it up and serve it with fresh clotted cream & jam- simply irresistible! The café is also really cute and also quite spacious.Food: 5/5
Really good classic vanilla scones that pair best with their clotted cream and jam. Got there at 3 and fortunately less crowded than it’d have been an hour ago.
Such a lovely place to experience an authentic English Breakfast in it’s original but also vegetarian option ! Both really good, the best we had in London !! The servers were particularly nice , we had a great time ! I truly recommend this place and will come back during my next trip !!Food: 5/5
This is a very cozy and authentic English tea shop with amazing afternoon tea We arrived around 11:30 on Saturday but had to queue to get in. It's very popular so I recommend getting there early. We had two afternoon tea sets and loved every single finger sandwiches tuna, marmalade, and caramelized onions and the scones! The scones are really huge here so it filled us up quickly. The cakes were a bit too dry. We had to take away the leftovers because it was a huge portion!
Amazing place to have a tea with scones or an English breakfast. The quality/price relationship is excellent. The staff is very polite. As a personal recommendation go early in the morning because it does not has many tables.Food: 5/5
