Lovely and inviting pub with an open fire and a great selection of beers. Good size restaurant and the food was lovely. The portions are big but as the food is good you don't mind. Great staff and overall great experience.

Arrived without a booking and felt there was no problem. Thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful, huge meal. Wonderful value of money. Lovely friendly staff - no pretensions.

Lovely cottage feel to this pub opwn fire in the winter. friendly welcoming staff and amazing homemade food all cooked to order 100% recommend

Went last night. Booked table for 7.30. Meal served almost an hour later. Seems Chef can only cook for one table at a time.  Felt like we must have had 2 heads each when we walked in. Food good but staff need to learn to welcome outsiders! Would we go again? No.

Very much a local pub.   Everyone really nice and make you feel welcome.

No longer do kids menu though. . .
