The perfect place for a Sunday roast. The eagle is very welcoming with their own dining area, a large annexe to the quite small pub. Waiting staff are attentive and the food is second to none. It's not just about Sunday roasts, there is on a menu board in both the dining area and the pub on the chef's extras, does not turn into a roast I would recommend the wing of skate. The eagle is open everyday so you don't have to have your Sunday roast every day there's a pretty large selection of choices from the daily menu, which the steak and ale pie is also recommended. There is ample parking in the car park a lovely beer garden out the front, and if you like animals then do get a table at the rear of restaurant and keep an eye on the back garden which has been closed to the public due to the Deer that pass through.

Went for light lunch with friends. The bar manager was really helpful with gluten free menu. I'll be back for gluten free sticky toffee pudding - didn't have room for it today.

Good service. Efficiency high. Good value for money. Excellent specials board. Lovely Sunday Roast.
