I went there for Sunday lunch. The roast was excellent, certainly much better than any carvery. Prices were quite high, but so was the quality. The service was friendly and efficient, and the place had a good atmosphere. Worth a visit.

Had afternoon tea courtesy of a voucher we won at school raffle. Staff very courteous, plenty of great sandwiches and cakes. A really nice touch of the team not to charge us for the extras we had and a to allow our daughter to take the uneaten muffins home! Great experience, we'll be back!

Tasty food with great service. Good range of options to cater for all tastes. The steak is usually great.

The food was of ok standard however there was limited menu which we were not aware of before booking. Upon arriving to the pub we were greeted by a very abrupt man who took us to our table, however the waitresses and waiter were pleasant. We were sat next to a couple of rowdy tables (presuming bottomless prosecco ) who were not eating, if it were me I would have sat them in the bar. Finally the toilet was a mess (not dirty, messy so empty toilet rolls on the floor etc...) and whilst you may expect this is a busy pub, you do not expect that in a restaurant.
