The Duke Of Somerset

About

The Duke is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the City. If you want great value for money and a warm welcome, then look no further!

Story

The Duke of Somerset is a traditional pub in the middle of the City. We have a great selection of drinks from all over the world as well as premium beers such as Peroni and Estrella, and a rotating selection of craft beers on tap too!

We are Cask Marque accredited and always have a choice of 3 ales available with Sharps Doom Bar as our house ale, and we rotate the second and third ales from some of the great local breweries.

Food is served daily from 11:00am which is ideal for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime or a sit down dinner with friends in the evening. We offer great value deals all day everyday such as 2 meals for £9.95 and weekly specials listed below.

What really makes the Duke of Somerset really unique is our large garden area which is described by many as an 'Oasis in the City'. With seating for 40 people and a 50' plasma TV this really is the spot to be for summer. If you love to sit outside all year round, we can always warm you up in the colder months with our outdoor heaters!

Monday - All Cask Ales £2.45
Tuesday - Free Pint with any Pie
Wednesday - Any pint of Craft Beer for £3.50, and selected Wines for £9.95
Thursday - Free pint of Craft Beer or a Cocktail with the purchase of any Burger, plus 2 4 1 Cocktails from 5pm
Friday - DJ from 7:30pm
Saturday - Live sport all day

All of our offers are available from open 'til close unless otherwise stated.

Always a pleasure. Thanks to a marvellous team. Keep it up!
Great traditional british pub. The atmosphere of the place was very lovely and cosy, a great place for a pint.
A great pub, somewhat let down by the architecture. The building has a very 70s feel. However, there is not a lot we can do about that! So, the pub itself. Great welcoming, lovely staff and great beer. A success and one that I shall continue to visit because I enjoy the company. A solid place.
Nice location, located near London Bridge... You can feel the London vibe and enjoy a drink
Great pub well worth coming from the Midlands for drinks and food
Good sized pub with lots if TV screens for sports and outdoor space
Could have done with a better beer selection, there weren't too many beers on tap that I liked, otherwise I'd have given this 4 stars
Nice pub tucked away off the beaten track.
Lots of seating and a lively atmosphere, a really great place for booze
Covid-19 safe setup really good.
