This was a great place to stop! Staff were super friendly, so welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Food as really nice, great quality and really well priced for what you were getting. Staff didn’t pester after eating it was a great experience and one I’d definitely return to! Thank you!
This pub is not great. The food, specifically the miso fish and chipotle chicken burger, was seriously overcooked. The fish turned out dry, and the burger was just a burnt bun with a tiny piece of chicken. Plus, we waited a painful 40 minutes for our meal. I'm giving them two stars, though, because the waiter was nice. But honestly, there are better places to grab a bite in this area.
This was a really nice, clean and modern pub in Aldgate East area. We had a table reserved for a birthday party and it made for an easy enjoyable time! It wasn’t too busy on a Tuesday night. They offered a great selection of wines and bears and the table decor was simple but cute! The prices were the usual London prices at around £6/7 for a glass of wine or beer
I cannot even begin to describe just how absolutely amazing the experience was eating here, but here I go! 1. The staff were incredibly polite! 2. The food was unreasonably delicious and I mean that. The food had no business being that tasty and now I have to live with the knowledge that not all my meals will taste that good. 3. The drinks were poured strong and generously Overall, you'd be a fool not to come and try this place out.
Definitely recommend for a lovely lunch break and an after-work drinks social. situated in a very vibrant area.Food: 5/5
Beautiful inside, served straight away shown to a great table. We both had the Sunday roast, it was incredible!! Will definitely be back, worth every pennyFood: 5/5
I visited this branch for bottomless brunch. The decor was nice and the environment was clean. Food arrived on time and portion size was good. Marco was an excellent host and catered to the demands of 8 women, service with a smile and nothing was too much trouble, even the paper napkins were quality. Thank you so much for ensuring that our afternoon at the running horse was a pleasant one.
The Running Horse is a fine, modern pub offering a variety of both cask and keg beers. Fast friendly service from behind the bar. Sunday lunch on offer and looking good, a Yorkshire with the chicken - just how it should be! A good place for a beer and something to eat
Fantastic food, very good steak. Service was perfect as well.Food: 5/5
I ordered a drink and as I sat down and placed it on the table outside, the table was wobbly and the glass tipped over. I asked the staff if they could refill my glass but I was charged for another drink. I won't visit again, these things happen and if felt there was a lack of consideration for the customerService: 1/5
