Story

We have the pleasure of a DJ every Thursday and Fridays, tasty pizzas and other fantastic food options made by our very talented chef.
We are open for breakfast Monday to Friday from 10am to get you set up for the day. We are also available for private hire on Saturdays for whatever event you are planning!

Normally have the Triple Threat burger, have had this 3 weeks on the trot, and have to say amazing, so will do separate review. Today I went with Fish, chips with mushey peas, unfortunately not amazing, fish lovely and hot, chips were McDonald's warm, mushy peas verging on cold, looks like peas and chips were sitting on plate waiting for the fish to be cooked. Very disappointed
What an awesome bar! Very cosy atmosphere and large choice of drinks, we spent quality time after work. I was impressed by the size of this bar, it is really big! There's even a gin area worth checking.Service: 5/5

In terms of London City based pubs, you will find no finer pub than The Alice. I have been a regular of The Alice for the past 3 years and it is a cracking pub. The principal reason for this is the staff. They are absolutely awesome, they really are, and due to this it is no surprise that everything else is of high standards. The quality of lager on tap is exceptional, you can tell they clean and look after their pipes, the food is of high quality and there is generally a great vibe in their especially on a Tuesday or Thursday. In addition to this it is a great venue to go and watch live sports as there are TV's situated around the whole pub as well as a big screen to watch the big events. Given the people are so good, it stands to reason everything else will follow suit. Great pub!

A fine modern bar/pub/kitchen, nestled at the bottom of an office block in houndsditch. A big place with loads of tables, geared towards feeding burgers, pizza and subs. All looks good. A number of keg beers available along with two casks currently on offer, a third is waiting in the wings. Fast polite service with a lovely cold beer the result. Love the bar, all the filing cabinets from upstairs! A good stop for lunch or just a chat over a beer or wine.
