Took the family for New Year's day and had a fabulous meal. We all chose different and all the meals came out at the same time and was served piping hot . Great atmosphere and fabulous value for money. The gammon was amazing!! Burgers huge!!

The roast was out of packets and tasted completely bland. The staff came out to argue about how many dinners had been ordered just as we had started the meal also. Not good at all.

All I can say is you get what you pay for, 3 course lunch is very cheap but as you would expect at the price the main course is very small and the ingredients cheap, there isn't much atmosphere either. But back to my first sentence.!!

Fantastic Great British pub service is superb. There are not many places left like this. It has a public bar, lounge bar and restaurant. Prices are good. Great for a family or just for you if you would like a lads or ladies night out. The locals are good fun. And Geoff and Tracy are very sociable. Entertainment, quiz night, poker night and music. What more could you ask for. No juck box which is a shame.
