Amazing place - don’t wear sliders your struggle with the hills - a good pair of trainers will do - a hilly walk down with steps at the end. There is two option at the bottom of the hill turn left down to the cove or Right to the opening through the sea
Stunning place with glorious views across the Dorset Countryside beautifully serene and a lovely place to catch a sunset Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Absolutely stunning part of the country, I live in the area so quite easy for the family to go when it's quieter can get very busy in summer holidays. There is refreshments in the local area. But I think its a lot nicer to take your own picnic.
A place of outstanding natural beauty, absolutely stunning coastal walks with the most beautiful views over the cliffs . Places to stop and have a coffee break or enjoy a local home made cake. Advice to wear strong boots as walking can be difficult in specific parts, especially Durdle Door, but the views will reward your efforts. Great photography opportunities for sunset and sunrises. Great beaches for swimming during the summer months, Many places for a picnic area Absolutely stunning, highly recommended
Amazing sight. Not to busy on Sunday afternoonVisited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
It's a very beautiful part of the UK. However many of the more spectacular locations are not accessible for anyone in a wheelchair or any form of physical problem walking. Durdle Door is definitely not possible. I advise checking well in advance where it is disabled friendly and which facilities are available to enjoy other locations.
I drove 4h to get here, but it's worth every little second and mile. The view is absolutely amazing, breathtaking, you have mountains and sea blended together. There are a few parking lots, so parking shouldn't be a problem and you have to pay around 5£/day. The ride there takes about 10/15 minutes but you have a beautiful view. If you'd like to avoid the crowds and have a peaceful atmosphere you'd have to walk inland. It's the perfect place to combine hiking and swimming together
A Beautiful place to visit. The coast and the countryside are both stunning. Great place that is dog friendly with the vast majority of pubs allowing dogs. The local brewery’s are among the worlds finest.
Dorset is a great area of the south coast of the England that has everything from sea to rolling hills. The coastal path is a great way of taking in the quiet scenery. A perfect destination for artists who are looking to capture the rugged coast.
Fabulois place. Ample parking unless its a really hot day when it gets busy. Pebble beach. Clear waters. Open grassy grounds for lazying around. Public restrooms until 4 30 p.m. loads of restaurants and icecream places.
