What a cracking night at macKenzies! The drinks are very reasonable for the city. We arrived early to get a table and it quickly filled up. A great atmosphere John O’Connell is a superb musician he had the crowd up and dancing, singing along and generally entertaining everyone. Can’t fault it.
Lovely bar and great staff however the fact that there bottle of hand sanitizer next to the signing-in book was on its dregs and the soap dispensers in the toilets were empty. Totally unacceptable during these times and I'm sure they'll be texting those who left their mobile numbers before too long.

Great Bar. Trendy place. Good beers and lagers. Great whisky selection. Nice bet garden out back.
Had a fab roast dinner .. fresh veggies and crispy roast potatoes... attentive staff .. and a lovely pot of Tea for my mum at the end .. Will be returning

I have not a clue about single malt whisky. The staff were really helpful in choosing some nice whisky for me. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great bartenders, great drinks, great times. Unusually quiet that night. A great place to spend an easy night at and the tables/chairs were comfy.
Good bar in former bank building. Great choice of drinks with weekday offers. Loses a star for not being dog friendly.
