Pretentious venue frequented by jumped up posers. The majority of the staff can hardly hold a conversation.
This is the last thing you need on a night out. Luckily the neighbouring bar - the Thirsty Goat - has had a revamp and is a much friendlier, fun venue. The courtyard area has live music every night of the week which is fantastic. The bar lacks the pretentiousness of the Dirty Onion - staff are down to earth and the customers are a much better mix than the customers at the Dirty Onion. The Thirsty Goat represents the future in the cathedral quarter. Belfast needs venues like the Thirsty Goat.

One of the oldest buildings in Belfast that offers a cozy pub experience and a restaurant focusing on chicken dishes. I loved that this place is also dog friendly and besides the bowl of water, our dog got a complimentary treat! We'll be back! :-)

Great pub/club vibe on a weekend. My friends and I had a blast here listening to music and having some drinks. I think there's a restaurant section in doors (at least when its full).

Ribs and Chicken. A great combination and portions to match your appetite.  Down stairs something happening every night. In the warmer months great place to sit outside and enjoy the ambience.

Lovely bar with a smashing fire. It was a Monday night when I visited and it had a good few punters. Only draw back It was hard to find and looked like we were walking into a work site
