Bar staff attentive and friendly. Good selection of craft beer in The Woodworker's. Tried the flight bar of beer, good way to sample a wide variety of beers. Staff were happy to cater the selection around your taste in beer, which for us was no wild/sour beer.nnDidn't have food so can't comment, would go back.
The atmosphere was quite antique-y. It is clearly one of the oldest pubs and I must say I found the staff quite courteous. The fish and chips were amazing. It is great for an afternoon alone-time
I visited here whilst staying in Belfast. It's a pretty big place which consists of 2 floors. They had some great music on Saturday night with a singer, but the best part was the pool tables situated upstairs. There was around 20 or so, and they are in great condition to play on. There's also a massive projector screen for the premier league football as well as some smaller ones situated all round. Decent prices, and they also do a top pint of Guinness. We didn't eat here, unfortunately, but from what we did see, the food looked brilliant!! As an erdinger fan, it was great to see some different types that I've not seen before.
It was pretty quiet when I went on Tuesday night, but the service, food, and Guinness were exceptional.nnWish it would have been busier as I would have stayed longer.nnWill definitely go back.
Very noisy bar music was booming but couldn't hear the lyricks.nService wasn't great took ages for food to be served. Fish was ok but why was there wilted rocket on the plate?nHubby liked his stew but hated the bread.nBarmaid was not very switched on.nVeggie lasagna on the menu but none available.
