Slums is absolutely delicious, I can’t say much more than how amazing the coconut rice with chicken, chick peas, spiced lentil wrap is! Only loses a star because it would be handy if they had contactless so they could take card payments under £10

Recently visited Slums for dinner, around 6pm and unfortunately regretted it the next day. I have visited Slums for dinner only a few times, yet twice I have suffered food poisoning the following day. The first time I had my suspicion as to what caused the food poisoning, but after the second time.... As a previous review points out, if you visit Slums during the evening you will notice the food is not fresh (congealed sauces, dried out meats), so I can only assume the food is sitting around from lunch - not safe. It's a shame as I actually enjoy the food at Slums. The option of coconut rice is great, I love the selection of sauces and I've never had any problems when visiting for lunch!

I must admit this is some of the best food you could get in Belfast. The portions are very filling and good value for money. If you want filled for whole day try out the burrito/wrap. The staff are friendly and professional. The only downfall are the seats. Could have more comfortable seats. Overall great place.
