Amazing place we had a baby shower there today and they were so helpful every thing was lovely I was able to rearrange the tables to what I wanted, Manager Dave was helpful he helped me carry all my bags from my car, checked on us regularly, table service was great saved us going to the bar every 2 minutes, then the food was lush,thank you all for making it such a lovely day, see you next week for another big party
Lovely staff. Pretty decently priced too. Nice selection of drinks and atmosphere/decor is lovely. Close by and nice to pop into!
I've been to the Darren several times and with every visit its always been a very warm welcome from start to finish. The atmosphere for me is calm and laid back, I also have a Bordercollie and she's treated so well by all staff members, which is another reason why I keep coming back. Just wanna say thankyou to all Darren staff members but a special thanks to Ross & Kelsey for always going above and beyond. Food is lovely
I found the Darran whilst out walking the dog. The welcome is warm, the beer was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful and made a fuss of my dog and provided water and treats. We have been back 3 times for food and will be going back again. Noodle approves.
Went there yesterday 28th jan with the kids well young adults now the place has a warm feeling when walked in. Staff all friendly Kadie was brilliant also was Hannah
When there for lunch yesterday, the food was amazing. Had the steak and it was cooked exactly right, definitely not waste! And with the deals they have on certain days you can’t go wrong with the price. The place felt cosy and comfortable but modern. The staff were so welcoming and the place and toilets were spotless. Great job guys will definitely be returning, this time for a gin or two!

Popped in, on the off-chance, on Saturday night for a quiet meal with my partner. I must say it was really very nice in there. The staff were chatty and friendly. The food was plentiful and tasty and not expensive. We will be going back
We visited the Darran for a 40th birthday celebration. The staff were so kind and I felt the staff couldn't do enough. The buffet was the best I have ever had. All the food came out piping hot and was so delicious. I would recommend this venue for a family get together. I will definitely be returning.
booked a table for 12 of us for our christmas meal and the evening was fantastic. their service was exceptional, kind and friendly to us all. the food was absolutely terrific as well! The evening was great and i can't thank the Darran enough for being the start of what was a great evening. Will definitely be returning
