What a great theater ! Big clear screens, lots of seats that turn into a comfortable recliner with plenty of room for your popcorn and drinks. They also support the Newport Beach film festival every year. Sit back in the cozy chair and enjoy the show. It’s important to support our local theaters so we don’t lose these treasures.
Great theater with a huge screen and incredibly comfortable seats. The amazing sound and picture can improve even the worst movie. For that, this theater is worth the time, effort, and money. The staff is friendly and helpful and willing to accommodate any reasonable request. The only drawbacks- and they prevent this from being a full 5 star review- is the amount of previews and ads before the movie. Come on, three is great, five is enough, anything more is punishment and when I pay premium prices... I don't want punishment. But when subjected to seven previews... it's a drag. Still, hard to say no to this theater. Check it out.
Literally the worst Regal theatre ever. The staff are so rude, stuffy, and impatient. I bought FOUR movie tickets for my little brother and his friends to treat them for finishing finals! And guess what?! They ALL get turned away and yelled at! Then, threatened they will be penalized! Why would you yell at the 11 year old and not the owner of the account?! You don’t do that to children. Not okay!! And they won’t even refund me. I’m a working college student with barely any money, it was so EXPENSIVE for me to get these tickets. I’m disgusted by this theatre’s service and how they treated my little brother. I would give 0 stars if I could. There’s a reason this theatre is always empty.. crazy they would turn away 4 of the 6 people that booked the movie. Go to Irvine Spectrum and save yourself the headache!
We showed up to see the opening day of the Super Mario movie and were made aware there was a issue with the projector. They had scheduled us to catch the next screening. It was my sons birthday and we just flew into Newport from SLC that morning. The staff was very accommodating and made this birthday movie screening special for him. Thank you
The seatings are huuge. The sound are amazing. Although, even better there were only few of us, watching the new JIGSAW. Sure that movie ended, like a blink of an eye. Not to mention, wonderful staff. Awesome manager. Nice restroom. Clean enviroment.
Decent theatre but feels like a bit of a ghost town. You check yourself in, concessions worker was nowhere to be found, and the theatre was somewhat stuffy. It seemed like an off day thought and the auditorium itself was extremely clean and comfortable. Though not a luxury theatre, I’d go back again.
Ive driven past this location a hundred times, finally went in. Its very cool. Been here forever. Very nice crew members. Never too crowded. And fair price. Seats are a little worn but still comfy.
I've always enjoyed this theater, the sound is quality, the individual theaters are huge, seats recline to an almost laying down position, screens are large, there is ample leg room for finding ones seat. On Tuesdays, there is a discount offered for Regal Members. Pretty sure it's only available for SoCal locations, as I have asked the Regal Locations in the Bay Area and have been given the runaround from both onsite staff & phone customer service. Pretty considerate of SoCal Regal locations to offer a discount to their members. It's nice to be able to save $$$, while having some kind of entertainment especially, with COVID shutting everything down. Parking is ample and easy, there's parking everywhere. Front, back, across the street.
Absolutely love this theater! We’ve been a few times now and it’s worth the drive! It has an old-school feel but is brand new and immaculately clean. The seats are comfy and spacious. The food is delicious!! Such a fun place for a movie night.
The theater was nice seemed like it was remodeled but I've not been there for years so it was different for the better. Reclining seats and swinging tables. A nice big theater experience, the reason why we go there. The staff tho friendly seemed bored and tired. Normally that could pass but since the theater is not that busy their demeanor stands out when empty.
