Just called in for a quick afternoon soft drink. Don't let the exterior deceive you. I loved the 800 year old fireplace and original well. The type of place that will be be on 'my need to go back' list. Originally built as a long house for the church builders there are also plenty of spirit residents for the ghost hunters.

Friendly and welcoming for dogs and humans alike. Big portions of lovely food. Our new favourite place to stay. Comfy quiet rooms in pretty setting. We'll be back.

Really good pub, genuine local but very welcoming at the same time. Food excellent.

Stayed B&B in the family room. Very clean and we'll kept throughout, cosy and well presented, large wetroom. Staff were polite genuinely welcoming and professional. Looked a good evening menu better than some other nearby towns pubs, we enjoyed our breckfasts,  had a good selection and of a high standard. Plenty of parking and ideal for wheelchair access if needed. A few miles from the Eden project and would stay again if in the area.

Great place to stay , lovely rooms which are very clean and comfortable.  Nice cosy Pub/ Restaurant  with great food . Definitely going to use again when were visiting that part of Cornwall again 😁
