Great Value Dog Friendly stay, in great location, with plenty of free parking, with one exception....nBreakfast;nMenu stating Full English...although served without bacon and with either chicken, veggie or vegan sausage. Not pork!!nFor those who love a traditional Full English to start the day. Very disappointing. Especially as not advised when booking.nAlcohol also not served on the premises, although I am told you can bring your own.nStaff friendly.nDog friendly room very well equipped. Bed comfy. Shower large.
A restored treasure within the beautiful Town of Lostwithiel. Several compact stores surrounding the area are within walking distance from the Best Western Fowey Valley. Also, a fantastic restaurant is situated a couple blocks over by the river called the Globe Inn, which includes a pub as well.nnAn excellent place to stay when seeing the magical Moor Lands as you journey through the Southwest regions of England in Cornwall. So many fun adventures await you here as you travel the lands of Land's End, King Arthur, Poldark, Doc Martin, and my favorite - North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell - along with a good deal of others.nnNot to mention the romance of the area as you may spot a Royal holidaying close by!nnStaff is very friendly and cordial, while the breakfast is great! Plus a heated pool all year round!!!
A good option for a quick break. Service was OK although could have been more attentive. The breakfast quality was good. The room was comfortable enough though quite sparse and the tap water pressure was very low. It does have a pool which is a benefit. It's a 3.5/5 really in my opinion.
My wife and our three young children 5, 4 & 2 stayed for five days over New Year. The room we booked was great, with plenty of space for the kids. They really enjoyed their breakfast each morning and the staff were really understanding when we arrived early each day and the swimming pool was open despite it being advertised as closed for winter, which the kids also loved. We'll go again, which I think is the test, isn't it.
Fantastic hotel. Best thing is the staff who are amazing. So friendly and helpful all of them.nnRooms are comfortable and quiet, with cozy beds. Powerful shower in bathroom.nnBreakfast was great, good selection of buffet and cooked items.nnHas a lovely heated outdoor swimming pool. Plenty of parking.nnHotel is great value for money.
