I haven’t eaten here for some time. It was a lovely sunny day and we went for lunch. Nice and clean. My only complaint is that I saw butternut squash being cooked on the same grill as the meat. As a vegetarian this was concerning. The food was good. My friend had a roast beef sandwich. Service was slow and no one explained the process for example you needed to collect your own cutlery. I would eat there again but would need to see how the vegetarian food is prepared

The interior and landscaped exterior was superb but let down by the limited menu and micro or non existent sandwich fillings. My cheese and pickle sandwich had a thin silither. of cheese covering about one third of the sandwich. Some of our party sent theirs back. I complained as we were leaving and was offered a replacement sandwich - we were leaving so didn't take up the offer.

Lovely food, nice chilled atmosphere, garden been redesigned on different levels (but still accessible, I believe). Only criticism is that it's a bit pricey, so not your everyday local, but well worth a visit.

I have been visiting this Pub for over 20 years seeing managers come & go and I’m glad to say that the new management Craig has really made a difference. We had a fantastic evening with a large group of 18 friends with a selection from a choice on the usual menu with a a few added extras arranged for a special evening including flat iron steak, Sea bass or Tempura Sea bass. Waitress Jemma, was friendly attentive and professional, even though she was very busy and Head chef Simon after preparing great food came out to make sure we had good service. Overall a good evening in a great venue. So much so we are going to arrange this as a regular gathering. Well done to Management, staff and the kitchen staff for a job well done.

They've remodelled the garden and outside area (it's pretty vast now). Surprised how busy this place gets on a sunny day. Food was nice but we had some trouble ordering, my wife's meal was messed up twice but decent food once the kitchen got the order right.
