Food was delicious. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Very popular place Thanks you
Cross Keys has a very cosy atmosphere; the food is always of high quality and tasty; through the Star Order app or directly at the counter, the service is always very fast. The staff is always very attentive and kind to customers, providing excellent service.
The Cross Keys is a little off the beaten track unless you work on Old Hall Street but it's well worth the short walk from the town centre. Its got a good selection of ales, ciders, lagers and wine to choose from. The pub grub on offer isn't unreasonably priced and is a decent portion. Excellent seating areas, from a heated roof garden with retractable roof to luxurious inside seating. The pool table has gone but its still worth a visit! Bar staff are a delight too.
We were attending a beetle weight robot wars style event at this pub on Sat 25th March. Very entertaining. The landlord and staff were friendly and accommodating. There were robots in various states of disrepair on tables all around the pub. Locals joined in with chants and football style cheering during the bouts. It was nice to be able to order food here. We all had burgers and chips, though the menu was quite extensive. The meal was well cooked and tasty. I'm sure on a normal night this pub is like an old fashioned local with lots of banter and folk with character.
Hidden gem! Staff were mega friendly and professional and welcoming. Had the burger which was seriously up there in the ranking of best burgers I've ever shoved in my face. Sadly quite tucked away in the business district of Liverpool but well worth a visit!
Love this pub. Great for a lunchtime pint and not overly expensive. Nicely tucked away round the corner and lots of coat little booths for a quiet bevy.
Very nice English pub. We had a lunch here and it was really delicious. Staff is really friendly and prices are really low.
Clean, reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable staff, well poured pints, beer garden, function room, lots of seating/room to stand, TVs showing sport. What more can you ask for? A hidden / out the way gem.
Great atmosphere, bigger than it looks from outside. Reasonably priced drinks with friendly staff. Will be visiting again for after work drinks
Most unwelcoming pub I have been in for a very long time .Pub was empty but everything seemed to be a hard ship. Would nor recommend at all
