This hotel is really lovely a beautiful building that lives up to its name. The was no parking directly near the hotel so we parked down a street opposite which was only a two minute walk away. Upon arrival we found it a little confusing as to where we should check-in as signage was poor and it turned out that we had to go into the restaurant to the bar. The staff were welcoming and friendly and quickly informed us where our room was and whether we wanted a newspaper with breakfast. The Christmas tree was stunning in the hallway and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Our room was small but just right clean and well maintained. The bed was fantastic & the room had an old traveller's trunk as a wardrobe /drawers which was charming. The room had basic tea & coffee, a writing desk, TV on the wall. The bathroom was a good size with a full bath and good water pressure. The only downside to staying Saturday night was that the local club bass could be heard, although dulled, and was quite frustrating to me while trying to settle, my husband however didn't lose a wink. I would highly recommend the crescent we will be heading back again and will hopefully get to try the evening menu as it looked great.

Good service and very friendly. Sausage and mash was delicious. And Monday night quiz food was great, too, (Yorkshire puddings were a very nice change from Nachos)!

Stayed at hotel for 2 nights, ate at the on-site restaurant. Accommodation excellent and likewise the restaurant. A well stocked bar is also part of the same hotel. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Had an excellent 2 course lunch today, including the best chocolate brownie I've ever had! The children's set menu was varied, healthy and plenty to keep my toddler entertained with colouring and activities on it. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We'll be back!

We had a great meal at lunchtime. The burgers were really good and a fantastic selection of ales were available. Some local beers from Ilkley Brewery. The staff were really friendly too. The roaring fire was very welcome!
