Market Town Tavern's fifteenth tavern opened in the centre of Otley in April 2011.

Story

Formerly known as the Three Horseshoes, The Horse and Farrier retains the integrity and charm of the original pub with distinct and discreet areas for dining and drinking, a cosy log burning stove and Yorkshire stone floor.

There is also a spacious beer garden to the rear adjacent to the main public car park.

On the first floor, sits a versatile function room which can comfortably seat up to 40 people.
It is ideal for family celebrations, private parties and business events.

4 Luxury en suite bedrooms available on a bed and breakfast basis.

Great pub, very cosy in the fireplace area, just as quiet as we needed it, with talking people in the bar area around a corner. Nice bartender. Good beer, good price.

This is a gorgeous pub. Clean but traditional with staff that are professional but jolly & helpful.nThere is a strong sense of community here with rooms that are affordable right in the middle of Otley market town-what a stunning setting with the river a few minutes walk away.

Good choice of real ales. Large beer garden away from the road. Open mic night on a Thursday. Local interest groups also meet here and use the rooms upstairs. Very friendly pub, all the staff are fantastic, especially Louie who always remembers everyone's names and their usual tipple.

We use the function room at the Horse and Farrier which is an excellent space. Really friendly staff in particular Louie who is so welcoming to the group equally to new people and regulars remembering our names and favourite drinks.

Decent enough pub. Chilled vibes. Can be a bit quiet but probs due to location being just slightly away from the town centre and other pubs/bars like 1 mins walk awaynBeer is normally good.nOutdoor area not amazing but catches the sun at least.
