Fantastic service from Andy at The Classic Camera. Their knowledge of Leica is unmatched. Purchased a D-Lux 8 which is the perfect everyday and travel camera. Highly recommend.

Andy's place was the only one in London where I could get a Leica SL3: he really tried for me and succeeded where others couldn't be bothered enough.  The SL3 is a stunner and works beautifully with dedicated lenses, but also, via the Leica adapter, with R and M lenses.  Focus-peaking excellent when using MF.  Thanks Andy, and thanks The Classic Camera.

Had a great experience with the Classic Camera, and really appreciate their excellent customer service. They were kind enough to hold a very in demand Q3 for me for over a month, in spite of my changing the pick up date several times. It was a pleasure to deal with Andy, who I found to be highly knowledgeable about the cameras and equipment on sale, and very frank with it.

I had the pleasure of meeting Andy the shop owner on a holiday to Sardinia last year. I -by chance- spotted his Leica and got talking and a year on i’m pleased to be a new owner of a Leica that I bought from his shop. His staff were accommodating and understood what they were selling, even going the length to send it out when i could no longer make it down to London. I will definitely be going back to the classic camera to pick up more accessories for the q3 -or the inevitable- picking up an M series down the line. All the best, George.

I bought an old Leica lens and it has been an excellent, pleasant experience. Being outside England, Andy has been very helpful, responsive with informations during our contacts and the lens was as described. I would definitely come back to them or, better, visit them if I were in London.  Best photographic wishes from France.

Andy is very patience in explaining the differences In lens / body which has greatly helped me pick out the right lens and body to help me start my film journey.  Great customer service would recommend.

Brilliant camera store that has been  around for twenty five years plus. Andy is a mine of information and looks after his customers really well. Knowledgeable and passionate about photography. Highly recommended.

The place to buy Leica if you want good old fashioned service. They have real world knowledge of the brand, new or classic. When you’re buying this brand the service from the dealer is just as important as the product itself. Highly recommended.

Don’t know the name of the employee or person who was in, but the experience was appalling. I went in looking to buy film for cameras I recently bought. The man wouldn’t even take a look at my cameras because they were Russian made. He made some nasty remarks and sent me on my way. Put simply, he had no interest in tending to his customers, as if I were wasting his time,  and secondly just plainly and blatantly rude. No such person should be working or running a business. Clearly no love, enthusiasm or passion for his craft nor his customers. Truly sad and disappointing.
