Atrocious after sales care! I purchased binoculars at a reasonable price, pleased until they developed a fault. I emailed them about this but found them slow to respond, they then avoided the fact I wanted them replaced. After several emails they agreed to exchange them, however they were totally unresponsive when asked about them paying for return postage my statutory right!. After seeing so many others having had problems with this company I approached the binocular manufacturer directly who then replaced them immediately. My advice is “DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”, go elsewhere even if it costs a little more!
I placed an order which included shipping, immediately upon placing my order the company sent me an additional bill for more shipping... About 10 lb for shipping for countries outside of the UK per my online placed order and invoice and then they wanted to charge an additional 14 lb for shipping per email request. I attempted to communicate with the company multiple times and 3 weeks later I have to dispute my charge with PayPal to receive my money back from PayPal because this company wanted to extort me out of additional funds after I already paid for shipping. I am so disappointed. It doesn't look like they function any more honestly in their home country so I would be very cautious purchasing from the seller unless you are able to physically go to their storefront and complete your transaction. Buyers beware. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.
I ordered an item there for the first time, which is not available anywhere in my home country Germany. So I decide to order from another country. In this example from UK from the retailer Microglobe. I placed the order in the online store, and also gave my address in Germany. The shipping costs were accordingly higher. One day later I received an unfounded cancellation of my order, which surprised me very much, because the article was shown as in stock. I have then asked why the cancellation was carried out. I was then informed that the article was supposedly ordered twice, although I was sure that I had ordered only once. Anyway, I was suddenly asked for another payment of 24 pounds, and that I should pay this via Paypal. I did not agree, because I have already placed the order at the appropriate price. After my complaint is suddenly noticed that it should actually only be 12 pounds. With reluctance I have sent the amount still after. The whole thing seems very unserious to me. I then decided to cancel the order. I sent a mail asking for immediate cancellation. One day later the goods were shipped anyway my e-mail was ignored. This is an absolute impudence, and unserious. I do not recommend ordering here, I will not do it again.
Incompetent company, VERY dishonest ! NEVER order from them! My father bought binoculars two years ago October 2020, it turned out that there was a technical problem! So we sent the binoculars back to make the warranty work, at our expense! After a few months, we still had NO concrete answers despite our email reminders. The only answers we got were: "Apologies for inconvenience. I'm looking at it, hope i solve it till end of next week, Please contact me for further assistance " and this for 7 months. In October 2021, I contacted them by phone and then by Whatsapp and told me that a refund will be established! we are still waiting! We have contacted several companies to settle this dispute and Microglobe says that the warranty can not work because the binoculars had fallen while he never mentioned this discourt with my father! To this day we still do not have the binoculars! Too bad we can't put "zero stars"
I have ordered a solar filter with them in January. It is now the 22nd of August and I am yet to receive the solar filter, an answer to my emails or a call back. I've had a man on the phone once who said he would 'look into it immediately'... Five months ago. This is a nightmare. Will never buy from them again, will not give up until I receive my money and will make sure as many people as possible know about their abhorrent customer service.
Shop offers products at a competitive price and ordering an item is very easy and straightforward with relatively quick delivery. Response to questions is also relatively quick when you are looking to buy. However, be warned, if you hit a problem with your item like I did filter arrived scratched, then it becomes a nightmare. They suddenly became unresponsive to emails and phone calls. It took several days for me to get hold of someone and when I did they were extremely rude and unhelpful, claiming that it wasn't possible for a filter to be scratched despite me sending photographic evidence and that I was lying. Will not be buying from here again.
Second to none service from Microglobe. I would highly recommend after purchasing a pair of bushnell binos from them. They were very helpful, not at all pushy and we're more than happy for me to try before I buy. Spend your money here at an independent store and you'll get a far better experience than at a global company like jessops
I ordered a leki camera mount from them and it clearly stated to receive within 72 hours.I checked on my order status 72 hours later and it showed as pending.I telephoned and was informed that they didn't know why it was shown as pending as my item was still in stock. After several phone calls I then received a email stating that my item was out of stock prior to me ordering. My advice would be Avoid! Avoid! Avoid !
Poor company, not recommended. Non existent customer service and poor communication. Once you order online, you do not get e-mail confirmation of an order. Not responding to messages on website and emails for ages, sending goods showing signs of use in non manufacturer packaged condition, delaying refund, making false statements/excuses and useless advices. Had to involve PayPal and escalate the case to get refund on returned item. Pathetic.
This is not a shop its a cave of treasure...we looked online and called into grab one..good prices...everything is still in boxes ...branded goods...so helpful staff...our kind of place...thanx
