Park Camera is genuinely a photographers paradise. Loads of varieties available for cameras. Amazing collections of lenses, both brand new as well as used ones. Huge collection of add ons as well as accessories to choose from. Ohhhh an amazingly, polite, and helpful staff. Overall, it is a perfect place for anyone looking for cameras, be it dslr, mirrorless, polaroid, etc, lenses, flash, and lot more....
A very good experience at Park Cameras last weekend! I wanted to sell my camera and was looking for a replacement, the team took extra care to evaluate my kit appropriately and provided me with a great quote. A special thanks to Richard, who was utmost helpful in helping me pick my Fuji X100F, and was very patient and knowledgeable when answering all my questions about the camera and how to make the most of using it! I definitely recommend this shop if you want to try new cameras, get a pre-loved one or sell your old kit - seamless experience
Great store. Fabulous knowledge and product line-up. When visiting just make sure to talk to someone who’s really engaged if not walk away and come back later. When we visited it took a few attempts to get the right person to talk to and then it was superb. Please we didn’t give up, it’s a great store.
Good shop, good variety. Customer service needs to improve, especially towards female customers. I only got noticed by the male staff behind the counter after a male customer apparently recurrent as he was greeted with enthusiasm by the staff, he pointed out that I was standing there waiting at the counter to be served before him. Then I was told that they couldn't sell me a gift voucher, even though their website says they can be bought at the stores. I've been waiting weeks to be able to come to the store in-person to buy the voucher as it's for a person who lives with me, so of course, I want it to be a surprise. So disappointing. Their loss.
Consistently excellent. In an industry where retailers cannot really compete on price as they are all selling the same brands and stock, to succeed they have to differentiate themselves on customer service, used gear and how they interact with a largely highly knowledgeable customer base. In my experience Park Cameras excel on all three of these points. Rapid communication, easy and simple processes when trading used gear and experienced staff brings it all together. Unreservedly recommended.
Very good experience. Have used park cameras numerous times and they are simply the easiest to communicate with retailer in London for cameras/lenses. I have been in-store and ordered online and both have been seamless experiences. I met Dimitris when I went in-store and he was simply fantastic, honest, helpful, quick and didn't try to up-sell whatsoever - he gave me his contact and I was able to coordinate purchases online through him, making it that much easier. They can order in comparatively quickly to other retailers and you can pay in-store, allowing you to try out and see what you ordered. Will be coming back, Thank-you very much.
very few camera shops left in london these days i prefer to browse and takes me time to absorb information - and i will often purchase my cameras in person than online. i have been into here to look at new cameras a few times as they have a reasonable range - to upgrade my canon and sony, whilst i appreciate sales people are doing their job, and very knowledgeable however i had politely said to the first guy i was happy just browsing, again to the second and then then third guy asked all within a few minutes. perhaps they work on commission? as way too pushy - which was very off putting and i had to leave - i remember this happened several times in the past
Came yesterday from Harrow into central to get an item. Arrived a few min. before closing, 10min to be exact. The doors and the tills were already closed. NOT OKAY. Then I was told by staff to call tomorrow if they can price match the item I wanted, and the phone line didn’t work all day from multiple phones I called from. I just went back into the store in central London, again from harrow, and then they told me they wouldn’t price match the item. The staff was kind enough trying to help me, but all of his head office people were apparently not available and we are speaking they were not available at shop opening hours. Disaster of a costumer service Honestly they wasted two of my afternoons + my travel time and money. I was forced to buy the item at almost full pricewhat a joke cause I needed the item by tomorrow. Otherwise I could’ve bought it elsewhere online earlier this week if they wouldn’t have made me believe that they cared about their costumers The store is way overpriced and isn’t competitive enough to adjust prices to other retailers. For each price match offer I showed, they found an excuse to not grant the match. I would not recommend to shop in this establishment
Great help on the phone after I managed to mess up my order. The sales rep was super polite and understanding and resolved the issue straight away. Fantastic customer service.
On June 20, 2024, I purchased an OM System M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO II Lens from Park Camera London, following the store representative's assurance that the purchase qualified for a £200 cashback promotion. However, two weeks after the purchase, I had yet to receive the promised cashback. Upon inquiry with Park Camera, I was informed that I needed to register my details on the OM System website to claim the cashback. I followed this process, only to receive a rejection from OM System nearly three weeks later. The rejection was based on discrepancies between the invoice details and my actual information, as well as the fact that they do not remit cashback to bank accounts outside the UK. I contacted Park Camera immediately to address this issue. Despite the salesperson being aware that I was not a UK resident at the time of purchase, they failed to disclose that the cashback offer was limited to UK residents. Additionally, the invoice was not accurately filled out with my real name and address. The store's lack of transparency and misleading information led to my financial loss and frustration. Despite multiple follow-up attempts, Park Camera has not responded to my communication for over three weeks, effectively ignoring my request for a resolution. Park Cameras has acted unethically by withholding crucial information, which directly impacted my decision to make a purchase.
