The Chequers Inn is a charming 15th century building in the quaint village of Weston Turville, serving top quality food and drink. The decor as you walk into the bar has a traditional feel with its broad polished flagstone floors and old beams taking you through to a fine dining restaurant area with a contemporary decor. We offer a wide range of wines and home cooked quality cuisine and we pride ourselves on our service and high standards. Whether you would like a quick drink, bar snack, a fine dining meal in our restaurant or to celebrate a special occasion, we look forward to welcoming you.

After having attended a few Sunday roasts, we decided to book for our small intimate wedding at The Chequers Inn. Ranka, Jamie and the team were fantastic from start to finish! What an pleasant find! Nice little pub in a quiet village. Great quality of food. Fabulous friendly service. It was brilliant to get a complimentary amuse bouche even though I stopped for a quick one course lunch. Served by the Head Chef himself! Hats off!

We went to the chequers for the first time for a birthday celebration. We chose the tasting menu, which was excellent and better than expected, with the pleasant surprise of a birthday card and fudge. All the food was nicely presented. We will return!
A gem of a culinary experience! The chef has put together a thoughtful, delicious tasting menu with fantastic focus on seasonal produce. The venison tartare and the fish main were simply sensational, as was the rest of the food. A lovely atmosphere with friendly, warm service. The chefs easily adapted the tasting menu to be gluten free and safe for me, a coeliac. I felt I was in great hands.
